Isn't it sad when you're in the same circle and a friend falls for another friend who considers him as just a friend?
So sad that I couldn't do anything. I can't tell my friend to like him nor could I ask him to stop liking her.
What's worse is that all you could do is watch and be there for them while their friendship goes into crumble.
Do you know what to do in this kind of situation?

Hello, again!
I know. I know. I've been vowing to blog as regularly as I can in every blog post that I make but obviously, I did not.
So, I've downloaded the blogger app and this would be my first of many, hopefully, using it. My posts would be more shorter than when I blog using ny lappy but hey, this is better than before, right?
Anyways, these couple of months have been pretty dull and I'm pretty much always at home so you didn't missed out much. Well, except for my birthday and some random parties which I'll blog shortly after.
Hooray for mobile apps!!! They make our lives easier!!!

Opening of 2012 London Olympics
Today's the opening of the 2012 London Olympics!
The Olympics is opening at 9 in the evening UK time and will be shown in the Philippines live at 4am via TV5. (London, United Kingdom is 7 hours behind the Philippines)
Okay. So I slept early last night in hopes of waking to my alarm which was set at 4am just in time for the opening of the Olympics. But due to my stupid messed up body clock, I woke up almost 3 hours before my alarm. Now, it's past 2am and I'm slightly sleepy but I'm afraid that if I go back to sleep, I would not wake up in two hours! I'll probably just read The Mortal Instruments, which is what consumes my time these past couple of days, until the opening.
Anyhoo, I've never watched an opening before, not that I've remembered anyway and my mom told me that it was something I should not have missed. So, here I am, fighting my drooping eyelids and waiting for the time. Hopefully, the opening ceremony would be as beautiful as my mom tells me and worth of my deprived sleep.
I've also heard that the Philippines has never gotten a gold for the Olympics, so lets cross our fingers and hope that this year would be different. Let us bring home the bacon!
Best of luck to all the Filipino athletes and may the odds be ever in our favor!!! :)
ETA: So, I've watched the opening of the olympics and all I can say is that it was totally and utterly amazing!!! Danny Boyle really outdid himself this time. You just have to watch it from beginning to the end, well, except when all the 205 countries were called and I was so closed to switching off the TV and going back to sleep. I mean, seriously, does those countries really exist?! Haha. But I'm so glad I kept on watching until the end or else I would've missed my favorite part of the ceremony which is the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron. I was just in awe when the copper petals rose and formed one torch. Btw, Thanks mom for convincing me to watch it, it was totally worth my deprived sleep!

Promises. Promises.
Oh well, obviously, I haven't lived up to my "goals" for summer. And not just for the blogging part, but all of it! So much for my hope for a productive summer. The horror!!!
What kept my summer busy was working as an onsite editor with Pictratto. What do I do, you say? Check out my next blog! :)
One of my goals were to meet up with my college friends but unfortunately, we still haven't got to together. I miss them so much, already!!!! Though, I did saw Cheri and Tim since I introduced them to the wedding business. :)
After a hard day's work! Haggard ang peg! :)
A perk in being in this business is that you get to travel for work! Not only will I witness beautiful weddings but I'll be able to visit beautiful places. This summer, I've been all around, as near as Commonwealth and as far as Acuatico and Punta Fuego in Batangas.
Of course, I can't resist not meeting up with these two. I squeezed them in my schedule and did some catching up!! :P
I think that concludes my summer, well, if you don't count surfing the internet, sleepovers at my sister's place and bumming around.
So much for goals. Since, I, time and time again, proved that achieving goals are clearly something I cannot do, I've decided to take one day at a time. After all, there's no need to rush.

Wish List: Graduation Gift
Okay, well. I haven't really officially graduated last March because I still lack a subject which is Filipino. Sucks right? But still, I'll just do this wish list or I would like to call it my inspiration list.
Lets make it more realistic, shall we? So expect me to not put Macbooks, LV bags, Chanel and such in here okay?
So here it goes...
A new phone preferably a Blackberry 9360
My globe phone's currently dying on me. Plus I'm am such a lazy texter that I probably need a good phone that is easy to use. I've never been the touch phone type.
Ipod touch
Okay. I'm really not fond of listening to music with my earphones but still... this would be very useful when I have long trips and I'm bored out of my mind.
New clothes
Who doesn't need new clothes?
Kindle
I love love love reading books. It just makes sense to have this, right? Though nothing could compare to smelling through new books but still, having this is just so practical.
New shoes
A girl could never have enough shoes!!! Shoe lust
I'll probably get all of these.... someday. I mean if nobody wants to give it to me, then I'll just work for it! Lets just dream high. :)

Bum
Okay. I admit it. I am a bum. Hahaha!!
Summer has started and all I do is sleep, eat and go online every freaking day, well, ofcourse except for the occasional errands here and there but still I feel like I've been bumming around enough to catch whatever rest I put aside in my senior year. I know I'm supposed to update this blog regularly but I'm so lazy these past few days that I couldn't do that even with so much time. *such a lazy blogger*
I missed my friends so much now that I haven't seen them for almost a month. See? I feel like I'm hibernating in my own room! Hahaha. Yeah. Well that goes for my college friends. Good thing my high school friends and I had this little reunion on the last day of March to celebrate Eryll's graduation. But even so, I missed them still! I swear I'll start going out with them again next week to catch up and finally make myself visible. So, beware!!! :P
I actually don't know what to expect this summer, I wanted it to be so memorable as it's my last summer before I enter a job. My summer started off with looking after my niece at the hospital for almost a week, then came two big revelations about two of my friends. Those revelations just goes to show how little I know about them now and that I've been missing out with their lives. Anyhow, contrary to that, my summer has been great so far. I've been to Laguna and experienced hot springs there and also had a spontaneous trip to Subic. And that's just for the half of April. :)
Also, I've been reading books! Haha. If you know me well, you'll know that I'll squeeze in reading a good book even in a tight schedule. I remember completing about 17 books in a month amidst my classes and stuff. Haha! But don't get too amaze because I mostly read chicklits. :) It's just so light to read and makes up my mood most of the time.
Don't judge please: But I do judge a book by its cover. Well, most of the time and just literally. In my defense, in a shelf full of books, what would you first pull out? See? :P So anyways, I've been reading a lot of reviews about the Hunger Games but because I wasn't attracted to its cover, I still didn't mind. There was a huge hype about it but still.... Sorry guys!
So when the movie came out, I decided, "what the heck, let's see this movie!". No expectations nor any idea what Hunger games is all about. So when I finished the movie, I understood what the hype was all about! The movie was so good that I had to repeatedly watch it! Hahaha! I had to read the book almost immediately and also finished the next two! So much for judging by the cover! If the movie was good, 20X more was the book! :) Lesson learned: Never judge a book by its cover. And I mean that literally and figuratively!
Anyhoo, my goals this summer or whatever's left of it would be:
Here's to hoping for a great and productive summer!

- Get transcript of records from my previous school
- Produce a copy of our thesis for our adviser

Send off party
So before the batch of 2012 march on their way to graduation, they had a send off party first. It is an annual event of the college wherein, the third year students bid their goodbyes to the college seniors. Anyways, this was my second time to attend since last year I also attended as a junior.
Here's a rundown of how my day went.
Cheri, Larah, Cheanne and Chesca and I met up to be made up. We were so hungry we had Mcdonald's delivered!! :D
Then, Joyce came after and we went together to the venue.
And to our surprise, we were early!!! Totally odd since we were used to being so late. Haha. Well, actually we tried to come early since Chesca was giving a speech!
These are what happened inside Area 05
NM with the dean
Jujows, Che, Pb and Kath
Rob, Pau, Irene, Dibs and Rocky.
The Fairy of the Night: Macky. (Btw, he/she's also a member of Addlib dance troupe and you could watch him in PartyP)
Here are the babes.
With our thesis adviser/mommy: Ma'am Agato!
Our table!
Upon arriving!
The tradition was, the juniors will be giving a medal to the seniors and the seniors will be giving a glowstick (last year was a candle) to the juniors.
Receiving our award for outstanding degree paper.
Che and Jawi. (Jawi, however, is a member of Gforce Dancers)
My friend Chesca will be graduating as Magna Cum Laude! Congrats babe!
Legs, Romeo and Marge.
Here's us partying the night away.
After some time, PorEmSi decided to move the party to the different venue. Everybody was present!
Bryann and Nica.
Joyce, Me, Jujows, Larah and Chesca at Tim's car. From Area 05 to 3D! :D
They've got Karaoke!
There was a game hosted by Tim and Raf where contestants battle for the cheesiest pick up lines!
The crowd
The whole PorEmSi!!!
After this, we became hungry and tried looking for a place to eat. We were strolling down Toma Morato when Bryann asked us if it's okay if we went farther. We all said okay and he took us to Paranaque and let us try Sinigang Express! The food was so good that we ate a lot even though it's already about 3 in the morning! Haha! After that, we went back to rest. I was so tired that I didn't even noticed that I fell asleep in the car! Hahaha.
We woke up around 11am and got ready. The graduates still have to go to school at 2pm for the orientation so we headed there! We are, ofcourse, hungry again, so we ate at Shakey's
At Mig's car heading to school!
So, that's it! I had one hella of a day but it sure is funnn!!!! I'm gonna miss these people soooooo much!!!!
PS: Noticed how much we are always hungry? Oh yes we are!

Thesis it!
Well, I've been crazy busy this past few months or probably, this school year because, like I said in my previous post, senior year was indeed toxic. The endless paper works, shooting, editing and to top it all off, the degree paper making!!! It's physically, emotionally and financially draining.
As shared by my friend Cheri, which she also found on 9gag.com
True to this acronym, I think thesis was really something college students dread in doing or atleast something that they don't look forward to. The never ending revisions and meeting deadlines was I think two facts that really contributes to this perception. Well, in fact, thesis is a thing you could be proud of after you made through all the rough roads.
As for me, I did my thesis alongside my thesis mates who were really my good friends, there's Nica, Chesca, Larah, Cheri and Toni. I know that you must think how we still remained friends after this, well, I really don't know! Haha! I kid!
Kidding aside, a tip for those who are still to do their degree paper, choose a topic close to your heart or atleast something that you're interested in. This way, you'll be engaged in doing your thesis and at the same time having fun. As for us, we chose to do our research in a Mental institution. Not only is the topic interesting but we are also crazy in our own way. Hence, our title...
We've had countless overnights, some are planned and most are not, countless visit to the mental homecare, countless printing and photocopying and other countless stuff.
I'm not joking when I told you this is also financially draining. Aside from the money we threw in for the party for the patients, were the donations and thank you gifts we gave to the mental homecare and their staff, the printing of the 250++ pages of our thesis and multiplying it by ten (Each copy for us six, A copy for our adviser and three for the panel.), soft binding it, then reprinting all of it after the revisions and finally book bounding it. Aside from that are the money we threw in when we hosted a defense and all we spend in overnights and countless cab rides.
This is a portion of the rough draft.
Take note: Writing your degree paper is, obviously, not a joke, so it is important that you're with people who'll make it more fun.
Well, if you think that thesis writing was stressful, defending it takes it to a different level. We were literally shaking on our toes as we discuss and defend a paper which we made for a year. Good thing we were the last group to present that day.
First was the group of Hannah, Clara, Shin, Sandra and Glester.
Next was Irene, Steve, Rommel, Tim, Migs, Odang and Benj.
And finally, it was our turn. It feels so good that the panel took a time to make us laugh while in front. It just means that we did a fairly good job.
We're actually third to present on the first of the four days of thesis defense. Here's a rundown of that day...
I still attended my classes in the morning... Sucks for me. Then, I went to the copiers and had my OJT journal bookbinded. After that, I went to Nica's to meet up with the rest and get ready.
Here's Chesca after a shot of good luck. Chos!!!
After getting ready, Jamir was kind enough to take us to school. Parang ang layo eh noh?
Then, the waiting begins...
With our lovely thesis adviser and second mom, Ma'am Agato. Her advisees won best thesis two years in a row. You could imagine the pressure that was put upon us. Haha!
It's time!
Chesca for the Chapter I, Introduction, Frameworks, etc. You know the drill.
Larah "ayawpaawatsasynthesis" Carolino and Toni for Review of Related Literature. Haha!
Nica for Methodology
And me and Cheri for Results and Discussion.
Here's our group with our adviser and Sir Nunez.
Our make up artist for the day: Cheanne! Thank you for all the support you've given us. Alamoyan!! Mas kinakabahan ka pa sakin! Haha.
And what's came after was a celebratory dinner at Banapple!
Toni and Bryann who have been our honorary 7th member of the group. He's been very helpful whenever we try to get a hold of Toni. Hahaha!!!
After that, we satisfied our Milk Tea cravings at Gong Cha!
We've had so many hardships in making this thesis, and that's why when I saw this after all the revisions, I can't help but shed a tear.
Much more came Graduation Ball, when we were announced as Outstanding Degree Paper!!! I feel so proud just of the fact that this was hard earned.
Thank you Lord for this and for all the people who helped to make it happen!!!
FUN FACTS:
- We chose our topic because almost all of us are bipolar
- A day before the defense, we met up for review but we ended up sleeping.
- At the mental homecare, some of us have crushes with the patients.
- We call ourselves now BB Babes because of what the panel told us in our defense.
- We had a one peso coin on our foot during the defense to remove the nervousness as per advise of a professor.
- The patients in the homecare knew us by name esp Chesca! Haha!
- On our thesis defense, Sir Sison, who is a panelist, told Chesca that she belonged to the mental homecare. Haha!
- When Cheri and I met up at UST to print our final thesis, I made her walk three streets surrounding UST. Haha! Sorry Che!
- Burger King had been our second home. We literally lived there in the duration of our thesis. Haha!
- In one of the overnights at Cheri's house, I broke the lid of their toilet bowl.
- Most of our laptops have broken batteries. So, we abuse every socket and power there is.
- We are required to bring our own laptops, hence, the more sockets needed. Haha! We often joke that we should bring an extension cord at Burger King!
- Because Ma'am Agato told us to copy the format of a specific thesis, we ended up looking and using for the font Century Gothic. Haha!
I told you thesis could be fun!!!
